"No broker, no contract, no commission, no hassle"
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: So you don't charge a commission when the plane sells?
A: Nope, you pay monthly for advertising and marketing only.

Q: There has to be a catch somewhere. Everyone else charges a commission.
A: No catch. As we say, "if you pay, you stay." If you don't, we just pull down the advertising.

Q: Is there a contract to sign?
A: No contract whatsoever. We send you an invoice for the marketing, you pay it.

Q: Are there late fees?
A: None. See answer to question 2. But nobody likes someone who doesn't pay their bill on time!

Q: What if I'm not happy with the service?
A: That would be a first, but if you're not satisfied don't pay for the second month. (And tell us why!)

Q: Do I want the Bronze, Silver or Gold package?
A: Silver was designed to be the "optimum" level of service. Call it L/Dmax if you will! If you're tight on budget, Bronze might be a good option. Gold is useful if you want to be as hand's off as possible. See the SERVICES section to find out more.

Q: Okay, so someone inquires on my plane, what happens next?
A: We respond to the inquiry with your specs, any pertinent information, our best sales pitch and CC you on the email. After that, they are your leads to work as you wish! (We can BCC you if you'd prefer to remain anonymous.)

Q: How long will it really take to sell my plane?
A: We've had several planes goes under contract within 30 days… so $650 worth of advertising. The key is, if you listen to our advice on strategy and pricing, it's going to happen faster. 90 days is realistic and very much obtainable.

Q: What can ChasePistons.com do for me that I can't do on my own?
A: We'll put it this way, if you advertise your plane on your own; you're covering about 30% of people that are already actively SEARCHING for a plane. But what about the people who aren't necessarily searching for YOUR type of aircraft? Maybe someone who doesn't know what kind of plane they need for their mission? Our eBroadcasts are sent to people and put at the top of their inbox. They don't see all the dozens of others that are for sale… only yours.

Q: How is it that you can make money at these prices?
A: Because we are a company that was formed in the cauldron of the downturn in the aviation industry. Our overhead is low, our marketing is all handled internally and we are a very efficient company. We are even completely paperless! Our piston aircraft marketing division isn't a multi-million dollar idea… it's a couple hundred thousand dollar idea and it subsidizes our overall company expenses. Genius!

Q: So why should I buy one of your planes that you have for sale as opposed to some other one that is on the market?
A: Think of it this way. Who do you think the more motivated seller is going to be…? The guy who pays nothing to endless advertise his plane with a broker (that uses it as a "flip" plane anyway) or the ChasePistons.com customer who pays $650/mo every month that the plane stays on the market? Thought so!

Q: You get paid monthly. That means that when a plane sells, you stop getting money. What motivation do you have to see the plane sell?
A: Bragging rights. We want to see the plane sell quickly so that we can brag about it and you can go tell all your buddies at the FBO. Seriously! It's not a short term business model… we're here for the long haul and referrals are our lifeblood. On the other hand, think about this; who would you rather advise you on the value of your aircraft and what it takes to sell it?

a) Someone who only gets paid only when the plane sells.
b) Someone who has nothing monetarily invested in trying to convince you to take a low-ball offer. (Never thought of it like that did you!)

Q: Wow, I'm impressed, how can I pay and where do I send it?
A: Personal or business check is fine by us. Just let us know where to send your e-invoice. We don't accept credit cards (since merchant accounts are stupidly expensive) and here again, we want to keep the overhead LOW!
